OnMyWay was built by logistics operators and engineers who were tired of the same story: shippers calling six companies for six wildly different prices, and carriers driving half-empty trucks because the jobs never reached them.
We put the entire move into one app. Shippers plan the job properly — addresses, dates, truck size, access conditions and a real room-by-room inventory — so the quotes that come back are quotes they can trust.
Carriers see the same information the shipper entered, price it against their own rate card, and win work without paying a broker for the privilege. Everything after that — coverage, the bill of lading, the signature, the payout — happens in the app.

The app is free to download for both shippers and carriers. Shippers pay the carrier price they accept, and OnMyWay adds a single published service fee that is shown before you pay any deposit. Carriers pay a percentage fee on completed jobs only — there are no lead fees and no subscription.
Carriers register with their USDOT number, and we check their operating authority and MC number against public records. They must also upload a current certificate of insurance. Verified carriers carry a badge on every listing, alongside a trust score built from completed moves and customer ratings.
Most shippers receive their first offer within six minutes of publishing a move, and several competing offers within the hour. Quotes arrive with a full price breakdown — base haul, volume, fuel charge, packing materials and any custom fees such as a stairs surcharge.
A room-by-room inventory is optional but strongly recommended. Carriers price from the load size, so an accurate item list with photos gets you a firmer quote and protects you from a price change on moving day. You can add rooms, items, photos and notes in a few minutes.
Every verified carrier holds their own cargo and liability insurance. On top of that, OnMyWay offers two coverage levels at booking: basic released-value protection, and full-value protection that covers repair or replacement of your items. You choose before signing the bill of lading.
You pay a deposit at booking, which is held in escrow. The balance is captured on delivery, and the carrier is paid out once the bill of lading is signed by both sides. If a dispute is raised, funds stay in escrow until our support team resolves it.
Yes. Moves are published with an estimated load size — for example 50% of a truck — so carriers can combine compatible jobs along a route and fill unused capacity. Shippers benefit because partial-load pricing is usually well below a dedicated truck.
